In order to substitute as a teacher, you must have 64 college credit hours and at least a 2.5 GPA.

We will also need a copy of your social security card, your teaching certificate, if applicable, and your transcript.

All applicants are required to complete a background check. The cost is $36.50 and checks can be made to the Carlisle County Board of Education. Background checks are done by appointment only on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 - 11:00. If you are not available during these house, we will work with you in scheduling a different time.
